Circles! WOW

To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven.

I’ve been working/playing with these babies! Man o Man do they make circles a BREEZE! They are called Perfect Circles and they are heat resistant.

You cut a piece of fabric a good bit larger than the circle (1/4″ extra is not enough). Run a quickie basting stitch around the outer edge of the fabric circle and draw it up with the plastic circle in the middle…

pull er’ tight… reeellly tight.

Blue circle…should have used more fabric around the outer edge..works OK but Mr. Green below is more better!

then press the beejebers out of it on both sides. I like to give them a spray with sizing which adds more body to the the circle. It also gives a firm crease and the fabric has “memory” and it will behave better. Kinda like when your kids were little and you told them..”I brought you in this world I can take you out” Kids have memory of statements like that and they tend to snap out of it..right??? Back to sewing sorry…

Open a small little bit and slip the plastic circle out. Press again and voila…PERFECT CIRCLE ready for applique’.

This is the part where you smile and say..”Well maybe I WILL make that Baltimore Album quilt one day!”

I liked the package of Perfect Circles so much I bought the big bama jama ones.I can now make perfect ginormous circles. Like if I wanted to make polka dot toilet seat covers or something like that!

What do you think???? 1 -800-Gotta Have It Right? Well okay so I’m a notions junkie. Is there a 12 step program for that?
