A Young Couple Take a HOME!

Absent, gone…out of town. We have been away for a few days helping our daughter and son in law set up their new home..first home. So adorable. They have built a home in the Asheville area. So all hands on deck for painting and moving furniture and hanging pictures. Our youngest daughter was slinging the paint roller too and we all pitched in. Tired but happy, their home is fabulous and looking good. Actually they are well settled for having only been in one week. Here are some photos of the fun. (okay I know you would rather see quilts…I sorry!)
I loved this. Emily wanted to make a frame wall going up the stairs! Wow it is terrific.

Russ painting the dining room. Nice color!

Kitchen adorableness. Very cool

Weird window pass through so what does Emily do?…yup hung a stained glass window there. Girlfriend is very creative!

Office…see that doll house? My father built it for her when she was a child. Oh how I miss that man.

Downstairs living area. Starting to hang some stuff.

My Grandog. Lucy she is a big ol’ girl…we love her soo. She smiled for her blog photo.

The view. Mountains in the background but cloudy for the photo. There is a lot of land that will NOT be developed in the backyard. Corn back there too. We saw a zillion fireflies that put on a real fireworks show for us on the Fourth!

Master bedroom. with the quilt I made them for their wedding.Neutral Bloomin Nine Patch. This bedroom his huge! and the color they chose is so restful.
Lucy guarding the upstairs and talking to her mom.

Upstairs loft..Wow

More loft but see that bedroom (my room) they painted it purpley lavender…with white linens etc. Soooo wonderful.
Thanks for letting me share the photos of this fabulous young couple and their terrific first home.  Time with family no matter what is going on is the best~Don’t you agree?
We are home now and it is back to quilting! I’m off to Melisa’s tomorrow with BJ. We are on a mission working on a new design. sooo much fun. I’ll take my camera and report in on our adventure.
