IT is over and Looking AHEAD!

Always look at what you have left.
Never look at what you have lost.
– Robert H. Schuller

Happy New Year to all! The above quote is a good one for me today. I would be less than truthful if I did not say that I am not sorry to see the end of 2012. It has been a tough year for my family with the loss of our sweet Jackson. It was also a year of reminders that we are not alone. So many friends held us up this year. I am humbled, amazed, and speechless.(speechless me? alert the media)

As for 2013! Looking AHEAD is where I am right now.  Working on internet and blog ideas hoping that I can do more, more and more!  Sara at Swoon Media  is working with me on my blog, many thanks to the recommendation from Judy L. I love blogging so much and enjoy the interaction with people I don’t know but hopefully will meet one day. Making new friends and sharing my life, family and quilting with my blog readers is a joyful thing for sure. Hopefully, I will have a shinny new blog soon.

I will be traveling and teaching this year, just as we did last year. (I’m a get around kinda girl ahahaha) I can’t get enough of this. I have said it many times before, think I am at my best when I am teaching. Having the chance to meet some blog friends along the way is the BOMB DIGITTY too, hopefully I will meet you
I can say this out loud now (you know this by now I’m sure). There will be another book in 2013! Thanks to the fabulous Martingale family and their belief in me another book is coming.  I am so excited my skirt flies up with excitement.(not the best photo of the new Martingale Logo, sorry) The creation of the designs, the making of the projects and the writing came at the most difficult time of my life. This book is very special to me and proof positive of so many things. The love of the friends and family I have in my life were 100% of how the book came to BE  It would NEVER have happened if not for them. I had angels helping me along the way and they KNOW WHO THEY ARE.  Then there is work. Work saved me, (and darn near killed me too.) Work can heal. There were so many lessons about work during life’s difficult times that I will never forget, and I am grateful for the lessons. If  you don’t believe this, just ask me. I’ll tell ya!

Then there is the quilting. I’m going to sew my brain out and bring some fun new designs and projects to share on my blog to this fabulous year. Yes I am! You’ll see

 AHEAD WE GO! Into 2013!
