Ellijay Quilts

Life is the art of drawing without an eraser.
-John Gardner
The house is quiet..Monday morning. I have been out of the house and on the go for the past 4 days so I’m diggin the quiet! I’m such a people person..but I’m also a person who loves the quiet solitude of home. I’m a super homebody. Sewing today, finished my 180 5.75″ log cabin blocks so there is a lot of squaring up to be done.
Here are some of the quilts from Ellijay 2011. Thanks for the memories, I think back on this fabulous retreat everyday and my heart smiles. Ellijay 2012 will be here before we know it.

As usual, love seeing pics on your blog. Is it too early to sign up for next year?? Can I mail you my deposit?? I want to invite you to my house in Franklin for a sewing retreat. I’ll bring Tammi and you bring a friend, I mean it!! And the local quilt shop, A Stitch In Time was in the top ten shops for the Fall.

Sarah’s Bonnie Blue quilt especially caught my eye. I like it so much better than the picture on the site. And the funky horses–is that a pattern??
